Finger Plugger

The unique design of these instruments combine a conical shape with a flat tip allowing for both lateral and vertical compaction of gutta-percha. The Maillefer Finger Pluggers are available with either a plastic or metal handle.

M-Series™ Pluggers and Spreaders

The M-Series is the first calibrated plugger and spreader system sized to match standard ISO files and gutta-percha points. The ISO-sizing and tapering virtually eliminate binding and allow deeper penetration for better apical seal. These patented instruments are ergonomically balanced for easy manipulation of curved canals. The ISO color-coded instruments are available in either a single-ended or double-ended spreader/plugger combination.

Schilder Heat™ Carriers and Pluggers

Designed exclusively for the Schilder warm vertical gutta-percha technique, these patented pluggers and heat carriers are machined from a special heat sink stainless steel and are angled inward for easy insertion. They are availabe in anterior and posterior configurations to allow for easier access.

Nickel Titanium Spreaders and Explorer

Made from the alloy, Nickel Titanium, these instruments have several unique properties which make them more effective in procedures which require negotiating curved, complicated canal anatomies. The super-elasticity of nickel titanium allows the instruments to conform to curves better than stainless steel and shape memory allows them to flex under pressure and then return to their original shape. The spreaders are available in sizes D-11 and D-11T. The explorer is size 23.
